"Doug was professional, knowledgeable, honest, and a pleasure to deal with. Homeowners are rarely happy having to buy a new furnace or AC (in my case I replaced both) but, I have to say that I am happy that I did. Klimit’s pricing was the best in town without the seedy sales guys and excessive fine print attached to the big org’s. In this case, supporting local was less expensive and I am extremely happy with the install, both Armstrong units, and (equally as important): the people I dealt with. As a single woman who gave myself a crazy crash course in as much info as I could prior to looking around, I ran into quite a few questionable dollar amounts, sub-par install recommendations, and a couple downright uncomfortable experiences with salespeople while getting quotes.
Doug and his team of installers were patient experts who took the time to explain things and answer my questions in full detail.
They were professional, polite, funny, timely, responsive, and not at all like some installers I have experienced in the past. They took the time to fix the ugly (and lazy) previous install and did things right the first time.
I’ll update this if anything changes but all I can say for now is: Bravo! & ...support local!
Also, note that you CAN utilize the Union Gas ‘save on energy’ program with a Klimit install. You don’t need ‘approved’ (aka: big corporate) installers for the rebates like the old/other program. You will need to do one or two other small energy saving things to maximize the rebates but it is definitely worth it. I went with Kevin from Amerispec for the before and after energy audits."

[R*L**NC*] had not shown up twice for service appointments and refused to provide any form of customer support, causing our furnace to backup and flood our kitchen. With freezing temperatures we needed service quickly. We contacted Klimit on a Friday afternoon, they were out first thing the next morning to see us.
